These resistors are supplied in the version protected by a galvanised steel grid casing with an open bottom. They are formed by RFC type resistors consisting of a cylindrical ceramic support on which the resistive wire is wound. The external protection of the resistor consists of a ceramic cement coating. These resistors are used in starting and adjusting motors, in electric braking devices and in load systems for generators, test benches, harmonic filters and grounding of the star point.
