Aluminium case resistors with level of protection up to IP 65. The type of winding, designed to maximise the ground of the active parts, makes this model particularly suitable for applications where the ability to absorb high energy values is required in a short time, such as during the pre-load phase of capacitors in converters; moreover, the particular configuration used in terms of insulation capacity, make continuous use possible with voltages up to 2500V. Special production is available on request with low inductance winding and with terminals in cable (ACR-G) or threaded (ACR-S).
The best performance is obtained by fixing the resistor directly in contact with the metal support plate (for example plate at bottom of panel) in the vertical position.
The possibility of customising the length of the cables and/or have thermal protection with Klixon allows maximum use flexibility.
