GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Industrial resistors with excellent electrical and mechanical characteristics, indicated for use where high power, safe operation and durability is required. The external coating is protected by a layer of vitreous enamel. The resistive element consists of wire in Ni-Cr alloy or constantan, twisted on an extremely pure cylindrical ceramic support. They can be produced with different terminations depending on the model and ohm value, standard flag type B, fast-on and pattern terminals, in a version with intermediate collars (divider) and off-standard tolerances.
- Standard tolerance ± 10%
- Temperature coefficient ≤ 100 ppm/°C
- Insulation resistance > 100 Mohm (500 Vdc)
- Max working temperature: 350°C
On request, a version with Ayrton – Perry type inductance low winding.
The nominal power Pn in the table refers to the resistor placed horizontally in the open air with natural circulation with an ambient temperature of 25°C.
With forced ventilation, the dissipating nominal power from the resistor increases based on the speed of the air.
