HPRF MODEL

The series of HPRF resistors refer to wire wound high power resistors in an aluminium casing. HPRF resistors are intrinsically safe and short circuit-proof resistors for the operation in frequency converters (FC). Due to their compact shape, further applications are possible. The best results are reached when the resistors can be mounted directly on a heat sink. Their shape and design guarantee the maximum use of the active material to reach an increased impulse stability as well as a simultaneous high nominal power. All the materials are fire-proof. The winding wire is in a water-proof cement core which also achieves better thermal conductivity and high insulation.
