Power / braking resistors in protected version in galvanised steel casing / with an open bottom.
They are formed by a single or group mounted ROP series resistors connected and fixed inside the casing.
They are used in electrical traction, in starting and adjustment of large motors, in electric braking devices and in load systems for generators, test benches, harmonic filters and grounding of the star point.
The high power value and the large amount of energy that can be dissipated are obtained by the significant content of winding alloy and by the high impulse temperatures that can be tolerated without alteration or damage.
The high level of insulation is obtained through use of top quality ceramic materials.
The nominal power Pn is intended only for the IP20 models.
